Regina Sterge is a writer based in New York City. She loves to tell stories that encourage her readers to reconsider what it means to be a woman. She occasionally also writes horror as a palate cleanser— it makes her laugh!
Originally from a small town outside Philadelphia, Regina settled in New York after a pitstop in the midwest to attend Washington University in St. Louis and a five year stint in Los Angeles. She graduated from WashU in 2019 with her BFA in Fashion Design. Her thesis collection won the prestigious Saks Fifth Avenue Emerging Designer Award, and she later went on to show an extended version of the collection at New York Fashion Week in September 2020.
Regina left the fashion industry in 2023 when the lack of sustainability practices and constant comments on women’s bodies forced her to reconsider her impact on the world. With a deep passion for books and a desire to follow a creative path, she turned to writing. She has a certificate from UCLA’s Creative Writing program, where she also works as an editor for their literary journal, Southland Alibi
Regina is also a 200 hour certified Yoga teacher and has been attempting to relearn French. Outside of reading and writing, she dreams of cage diving with the Great Whites one day. She has not yet pursued her diving certification. She’s also a painter and does branding work for small businesses in the LA area. As of Autumn 2024, she has been pursuing her Fiction MFA at Columbia University.
